Custom fitted night and mouthguards are personalized and made specifically for you, like the ones you get from your dentist. You may adjust the thickness of your guard (available as a special request) depending on your level of teeth grinding and clenching, and they are designed to fit perfectly in your mouth with no adjustments required. For athletic guards, the custom fit provides greater protection against impact, are more comfortable, and you can talk with your guard on.

Professionally custom fitted mouthguards are the best and safest guards that one can have. They provide maximize protection and comfort for your mouth and teeth. When you use the boil and bite mouth guards, they are unfitted, are prone to shifting, and offer little protection because they do not absorb shock properly/evenly. These cheaper mouth guards also pose the risk of both falling out and getting knocked out easily.
A: As it turns out, impression kits are not designed for persons wearing braces or other orthodontic appliances.
